Power? Or wise power?
You choose.

Great leadership is an exercise in empathy.

Effective leadership comes alive through a combination of self-study, values alignment, and nourishing relationships.

It’s time to dismantle the lie that leaders are defined by one rigid set of characteristics.

Knowing yourself, managing yourself, and growing your capacity to listen are the foundational tools for expanding your leadership potential—and ultimately, your influence. As we overcome self-limiting beliefs our impact as leaders expands.

We are collectively moving away from repressive hierarchical structures, into systems of collaboration and equity.

We’re finally understanding that leaders aren’t “people who have followers.”

They (you!) are facilitators and coaches, listeners and interpreters.

All of my work, but especially my coaching work, is co-creative and collaborative. I don't have any power that you don’t.

I simply ask questions that’ll get to the core of your own being — that will help you define what you want and remove the inner barriers to achieving it.

What is Emotional Intelligence?

In order to build influence, a specific kind of inner work must be done around our own sense of power, authority, communication, and competency.

In a culture where we are constantly told to “do more” and “be more”, Emotional Intelligence (EI) offers a sustainable and effective toolkit for realizing our goals and visions over the long-haul.

I’ve studied and worked extensively with Daniel Goleman, one of the most influential educators in the field of EI. Dan's groundbreaking work on emotional intelligence established it as “a revolutionary, paradigm-shattering idea” (Harvard Business Review). EI has become an integral part of a new wave in the leadership and employee development business world, and has been integrated into educational systems with the establishment of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).

EI focuses on core competencies in the realms of Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management. This skill set is vital throughout our lives—whether we’re leading a team, raising a family, or simply want to make a positive impact in the world.

I use a focused, comprehensive, research-based model co-created by Daniel Goleman, designed to create lasting changes to the behavior and mindsets that drive your leadership—and, really, all your actions.

At the risk of sounding a little crazy, I really felt like, within the first three minutes of our first conversation, that our souls connected. What I mean by that is that I feel like Liz was able to see through me - and not in any type of malicious way. I just feel like she was able to look at me and just really see my soul — to instantaneously see what was filling me up and what was depleting me.”

Liz clearly has a presence to her - like an energetic
presence to her. I’m in a corporate environment, I’m doing a million different things. I’m kind of an anxious person as it is, so I’d be pivoting from a thousand different things to just find a quiet space to have my coaching calls with Liz. I swear she could feel my energy from where she was and sort of settle me into grounding myself for the session, which I think is honestly just truly a gift.”

Liz was really supportive of me going at my own pace. She allowed me to focus in on what I wanted to focus in on or what was coming up for me versus steering the conversation in one direction or another. She was really good at just letting it go where it needed to go.

Liz redirects you to ask the right questions and to look at things from different perspectives. Sometimes I think we become very narrow-minded for whatever reason. So realizing there are different paths open to you, and being given the space to ask “how about if we took this path? What would be the outcomes potentially?” was incredibly helpful. She helps you to think outside of your perspective.

Even online, Liz was able to create a personal atmosphere where tears could roll without embarrassment.
